At Home Party Sales Consultant Jobs
86Become a Consultant
If you're looking to make extra money, you may want to consider becoming a consultant. There are many options to choose from and you don't have to stick with the more common. You can find something that you're really interested in, so that you can prosper. The more interested you are i the product you're trying to sell, the better you will do at selling.
When people see how enthusiastic you are and how much you believe in your product, they are more willing to buy.
Common at home party jobs include: Avon, Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, and Tupperware. There are others that you may be familiar with, as well, such as pleasure parties, but if none of those really peak your interest, don't sign up just because. Plus, if you think about it, because these are the more popular consultant jobs, there are already many people selling, so in most cases, those who will buy will more than likely already have a contact.
Try to find something different. Something that you like. Something that you think that you will do well at. It's good to go outside of the box.
I didn't realize how many options there were for at home party jobs, until a lady at my work started selling thirty one purses and accessories. I am in love with the brand of handbags and have made a few orders already. I plan to continue making orders as the season prints change and as new products become available.
Thirty-one gifts got me thinking... What other at home consultant jobs are available that I may be interested in?
I started doing a little research, and I found that there are so many different options to choose from, ranging from food, coffee and tea, jewelry, purses, makeup, pet products, kids toys and games, apparel, home decor, crafts, plants, and just about anything else in-between... Well, the only thing that I couldn't find anything for automotives, but there are still business that men would do well at, such as with some of the food and grilling companies.
If you think that you want to sign up with one of the at home consultant companies, make sure that you do your research, as you want to know what you're getting into before you get started. You want to consider asking the following questions:
- What is the minimum order that I have to make?
- How often do I have to order?
- By what means am I allowed to sell products (online, parties, personal website, ebay, etc.)?
- Do I have to host parties? Or are the parties an option, as long as I can make my minimum order on time?
- If I have to have parties, are there any rules as to how I have to run my parties? Can they be more of informal get-togethers instead of formal sales pitches?
- Do I have to keep inventory in stock at home, or do I order my products as customers order from me?
- What is the average commission that I would make on sales?
There may be many other questions that you may have, but I found these seven questions, the most important to me. Before you sign up with any company, you want to speak with a consultant in your area. Be comfortable with what you're selling, and make sure that you are comfortable with all the terms before you get started.
If you've decided that you want to be a consultant and sell products from a chosen company, or two, it's time that you get started. After talking to your nearest team leader, filling out the forms, and purchasing your starter kit (if available), you're on your way to your first at home party.
You'll find that the home party consultants can make a good income, and they get tho choose whether they want to work part-time or full-time. The harder that you work, the more potential for higher earnings, but you want to keep a schedule that you're comfortable with.
By becoming a home consultant, you will meet new people, make friends, find a love in the products that you're selling, and create an at home job for yourself. These positions can be great supplemental income or set income; it all depends on what levels you strive for, how you treat the business, and where you take it.
You make your own rules, which makes the business opportunities great for anyone, whether it be the stay at home mom or the working mom. Both men and women can find a place being at at home party consultant.
If you know that you're ready, you want to follow the following suggestions:
- Create a bank account that you'll use solely for your business.
- Create a space in your home that you will use for your business.
- Keep all spendings, personal and business separate.
- Keep in contact with your customers.
- Create fun parties and invite everyone you know.
- Keep a notebook of themes and party ideas.

I've heard of a lot of these companies before. Most of them, actually. We ordered something from Tastefully Simple earlier this year- good stuff. Great idea for a hub.
Wow, I had no idea there were so many types on at-home consultant jobs/products. I like the idea of the tea/coffee and even the wine.
