Mary Kay Microdermabrasion Set

Updated on September 25, 2008

Microdermabrasion

You can go to the dermatologist and pay $200 a session for a "professional" microdermabrasion treatment, and most of the time the dermatologist will want you to come back for at least six sessions. Now, that is a lot of money to pay, when all you have to do is purchase the Mary Kay Microdermabrasion Set and do it at home twice a week, and only twice a week.

The Mary Kay Microdermabrasion Set is a two part set that includes the Refine and then Replenish, and you should really use the products together in order to get the best results.

Anyone of any age can use the Microdermabrasion Set by Mary Kay. It is a great way to help reduce acne in younger people, and it is a great way to help reduce fine lines in older people.

Mom's you can buy the set for your teenagers and use the products for yourself, as well.

The retail price for step one (Refine) is $30.00, and the retail price for step two (Replenish) is $25.00, and you can purchase them as a set for $55.00.

Mary Kay Microdermabrasion

The Mary Kay Microdermarasion Set is a simple two step process that includes the Refine and Replenish. By using both products together, you will see the best results within just a few weeks.

Step 1: Refine is the exfoliator that gives you the same professional treatment at home that you can get from a dermatologist. This step energizes your skin and makes your skin more healthy looking, as it helps shed the dead skin making room for the new skin to grow.

Step 2: Replenish is a rich serum that contains vitamins, antioxidants, and anti-irritants to help nourish your skin after using step one.

Results after just one week:

  • Improvement in skin texture: 85%
  • Reduction in fine lines: 73%
  • Smaller-looking pores: 71%

When using the Microdermabrasion set along with the Mary Kay Timewise cleanser and moisturizer, you want to make sure that the day you use the Refine solution, you do not use the cleanser, it will supplement itself. You still want to use the Refine and the Moisturizer together.

If you are using the full Mary Kay Miracle Set, your routine would be:

  1. Refine
  2. Replenish
  3. Day or Night Solution
  4. Moisturizer

Just remember that you do not want to use the Microdermabrasion set more than twice a week.

And, please take into account that I would not claim these products as lightweight if they were not. After applying the Microdermabrasion 2 parts and then the day or night solution and then the moisturizer, you really do feel a difference in your face, and it does not get oily throughout the night or day. I usually have a problem with lotions making my face oily, so I was iffy about trying all these products at once, but they really do help reduce excess oils.
